Pelee Island Winery saw an opportunity in the single-serve wine landscape. To take advantage of the opportunity, they needed bottles that would provide their environmentally aware consumers with sustainable and convenient packaging and be able to do graphical justice to their visually stunning LOLA range.

Trivium delivered. Together we decided on 250-ml aluminum bottles as they could be resealed, integrated into Pelee’s existing packaging lineup, and offered a great canvas for the distinct graphics which are printed directly on the bottles in up to 6 colors. More importantly, the bottles don’t look like beverage cans which appeals to the wine consumer looking for something premium.

Pelee Island Winery’s LOLA range was Highly Commended in the 2021 World Beverage Innovation Awards and was awarded Silver in Canmakers Magazine Can of the Year Awards in 2021.

Lower carbon footprint, improved customer convenience, premium look and feel, gorgeous graphics – what’s not to love? Enjoy.
