Important Business Update

Today, Trivium’s shareholders reached an agreement on a proposed transaction that will combine Trivium with Silgan Holdings Inc’s. (NYSE: SLGN) metal packaging operations.

The transaction will bring together the strengths of both organizations, creating a larger global metal packaging business with expanded capabilities, a broader geographic footprint, and an even stronger platform for innovation and customer service.

The proposed transaction is subject to all required works council consultations, regulatory approvals, and customary closing conditions. If and until the transaction closes, which is expected mid-2027, Trivium Packaging and Silgan Holding Inc. will continue to operate as two separate and independent companies.

We are excited about the opportunities this proposed combination could create and the potential to bring together two businesses with a shared commitment to metal packaging.
